GIS & Mapping

Geographic Information System

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is designed to store, manage, display, and analyze all types of geographic and spatial data. GIS combines database functions with computer mapping to analyze geographic data.  Yorkville's GIS allows residents, business owners, and other interested individuals to gather information on land use, zoning, utilities, district boundaries, and much more within the City's municipal limits.
