Don't miss out on the annual Used Book Sale hosted by the Friends of the Yorkville Library! Get ready for a weekend of excitement and discovery as you browse through a vast selection of books at incredible prices. Join us on Saturday from 9am-4pm during Hometown Days, and help support the programs offered through the Yorkville Public Library. STRUT YOUR MUTT COMPETITION
Saturday, August 30 (10:45am)
Does your pet have the longest ears, best trick or the most beautiful eyes? Show us why your pet is the best as they compete for the title in fun categories (listed below) in this year's Strut Your Mutt Competition! Pets can be entered into two categories and are designated at registration. Registration begins at 10:45am with the competition starting at 11:15am. All pets are welcome; however, must have valid tags and always be on a leash or caged.
**Please note that the Strut Your Mutt Competition is held outside the main festival grounds, on the west side of the Beecher Park playground. Pets will not be allowed within the main festival grounds unless they are registered service animals with documentation.

JUNIOR WOMEN'S CLUB FALL CRAFT SHOW

MUSIC & MINGLE
Saturday, August 30 (3-6pm)
This is an afternoon you won't want to miss as the young and "young at heart" will enjoy singing along and playing games with our interactive Kid's DJ while meeting some of the most famous movie and TV characters from 3-6pm! Grab your passport and visit the lands of all the characters, collecting "stamps" at each stop, to redeem a fun prize (while supplies last) at the Music & Mingle Activity Booth! Who needs an expensive theme park when you can come out to the United City of Yorkville's Hometown Days Festival for FREE?!

Get ready to be mesmerized as your favorite movie characters take the stage for interactive performances during Music & Mingle at the United City of Yorkville Hometown Days Festival on Saturday from 3-6pm! All performances will be held on the Magical Moments Powered by YPAC stage within the Ottosen DiNolfo Hasenbalg & Castaldo LTD Family Activities Area! See below for performance schedule!

The free family activities area at Hometown Days is a great place to bring your kids and meet up with friends for a fun-filled day. This area provides numerous FREE activities to keep kids of all ages entertained! Activities rotate each day providing new and fun opportunities all weekend long!

CARNIVAL
Carnival Open Saturday, August 30 (1-10pm)
Come on out for some thrills and fun as DRS Skinners' Amusements is back again with a spectacular carnival!
Get ready to ride! Wristband Specials will be available throughout the weekend on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 from 1-5pm. Wristbands will be available for purchase for $30 each. Please note, wristbands are day-specific, and only valid between 1-5pm on the day of purchase.

Brews & BBQ

Saturday, August 30 (2:00-6:00pm)
Come on out for the best happy hour in town on Saturday, August 30 from 2-6pm for an all new experience featuring local flavors! For $25/person or $40/couple participants will enjoy a 2-oz. taste of a variety of four (4) craft beers, two samples of local BBQ, receive a beer tasting souvenir, AND walk away with a 14oz pour of their favorite! Registration and payments are accepted in cash only the day of the event at the D&J Dent Removal Beer Tent. All participants must be 21 years or older, and able to supply a valid ID.

FLOATING WEST West Coast IPA; 7.9% ABV | This is a West Coast IPA with cascade and centennial hops that gives characteristic floral, pine and citrus notes. A solid backbone of hops balances the light caramel notes from the malt. |
FOG ON THE FOX Hazy/Juicy IPA; 7.1% ABV | This juicy and fruity hazy IPA is cloudy like a cool morning on the Fox River. Made with helio gazer yeast along with Mosaic and Galaxy hops to bring out notes of guava, berry and stone fruit. |
GOLDEN HAWK Amber Ale; 6.1% ABV | A dark amber, rich with malt notes, caramel, toast, with a clean, crisp, dry finish that leaves you craving another sip. The Golden Hawk was made by Studebaker in the 1950's and sold in the showroom that used to inhabit our building. |

Adults of all ages will enjoy a night playing an assortment of their favorite bar games, Brews & BBQ Tasting, and Bags Tournament, while rocking our to your favorite hits performed LIVE by Birdchild (3-6pm) and returning favorite, All American Throwbacks (7-10pm)!

HOMETOWN DAYS BAGS TOURNAMENT
Saturday, August 30 (4pm)
Do you and your partner have what it takes to bring home the title? Register for Hometown Days Bags Tournament! The tournament will be held on Saturday, August 30 at Beecher Community Park (908 Game Farm Road, Yorkville) as a part of the Annual Hometown Days Festival. Registration will begin at 3pm the day of the event, with the tournament starting at 4:00pm.
Team registration will take place at the D&J Dent Removal Beer Tent and costs $40 per team. Registration fee includes 4 drink tickets per team for adults (21+), and 2 food tickets for festival vendors (limited menu). First and second place teams will win CASH PRIZES and Bragging Rights as the Best Bags Team in Yorkville! This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE!
Adults are considered anyone aged 18+. If you have any questions about this fun event, please contact Recreation Staff.
