Yorkville Hometown Days is gearing up to be an unforgettable Labor Day weekend, featuring live music performances every night! If you're a music lover, then you won't want to miss out on this incredible event. From rock and 80s pop, to Disney classics and big band, there's something for everyone. Our lineup of talented performers are sure to get you on your feet and dancing the night away no matter when you attend. So come on out one night or all 4 and enjoy the festivities while immersing yourself in the best in live music entertainment outside of Chicago. Don't forget to bring your friends and family along for this unforgettable weekend filled with amazing tunes, great food, carnival rides, and endless fun.

YORKVILLE BIG BAND

Join Senior Services Associates for a barbecue fundraiser featuring 5b's Barbecue and the Yorkville Big Band. Dinners will cost $20/individual or $35 for two dinners. Diners have a choice of 2 pork chops, half a barbecued chicken, or a combination of both. Join the Yorkville Big Band from 5pm-7pm as they take us back in time with some classic hits. Founded in 1993, the 18-piece big band brings to life traditional swing music throughout the Chicagoland area. A “labor of love” best describes the band. Their music covers a large area, sounds of the 40’s and 50’s, with new modern arrangements of the famous big bands such as: Glenn Miller, Harry James, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Ray Anthony, Billy May, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and other great bands that played in the era. The Yorkville Big Band also performs new big band arrangements of today’s more popular songs.
