MINECRAFT ADVENTURE

Sunday, August 31 (11am-3pm)
Grab your pickaxe and your friends!  Dig into Minecraft challenges, games and fun in the Ottosen DiNolfo Hasenbalg & Castaldo LTD Family Activities area from 11-3pm on Sunday, August 31.  Participants will "jump into" the world of Minecraft as they compete in the following challenges and games!

Creeper Knockdown
Think you have the aim of a skeleton?  Test your skills in this explosive archery challenge and knock down as many Creepers as you can!

CRAFT for the MINE Race!
Think you know your Minecraft recipes?  Put your crafting skills and speed to the test in this fast-paced mining-themed race!

Build Battle
Think fast, build faster!  Race against the clock (or each other) to recreate a Minecraft pixel art masterpiece!

Minecraft Scavenger Hunt
Go on a Minecraft Scavenger Hunt and search for hidden items throughout the Family Activities area!  Find them all to earn a prize and become a true Minecraft explorer!

Pixel Art Creation Station
Pixel art is a fun and simple way to creating pictures using small, colorful squares - just like the blocks in Minecraft!

NEW DAY & TIME!  Get ready for a bundle of cuteness at the United City of Yorkville's 2025 Hometown Days Festival Baby Contest! This annual tradition is the event for tiny tots to steal the spotlight and melt hearts. We're celebrating all the giggles and wiggles with fantastic categories like Craziest Hair, Tiny Trend Setter (Best Outfit), Biggest Eyes, Chubbiest Cheeks, Biggest Smile, and the ultimate title of Hometown Honey Pie (Overall Cutest Baby).

Get ready to ride! Unlimited Ride Wristband Specials will be available throughout the weekend between 1-5pm on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1. Wristbands will be available for purchase for $30 each. Please note, wristbands are day specific and only valid between 1-5pm on the day of purchase.

FOXES DEN MEADERY TASTING

Sunday, August 31 (2-6pm)
Whether you are a first-time taster or a seasoned enthusiast, step into a world of sweetness and discover your favorite flavors of mead during the Foxes Den Meadery Tasting on Sunday, August 31 from 2:00-6:00pm!  For $15/person, participants will enjoy a 4oz pour of a variety of four (4) meads plus walk away with a full drink from the D&J Dent Removal Beer Tent!

Registration and payments are accepted in cash only the day of the event at the D&J Dent Removal Beer Tent.  All participants must be 21 years or older, and able to supply a valid ID.
