About the Festival
The 2023 Hometown Days Festival is a family-oriented event that provides entertainment the entire family can enjoy! We are excited to bring back again this year the past favorites including the Ultimate Air Dogs Competition, Baby Contest, Bags Tournament, Big Band & BBQ, Pride and Joy Car Show, and an exciting lineup of Musical Entertainment. Please visit the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Facebook Page for up to date festival information. Admission to the festival is $2 after 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Baby Contest

Join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department for a long-time, adorable favorite. The baby contest is an annual tradition that brings in the youngest of crowds. This year's Baby Contest is held on Friday, September 1 starting at 5:30pm with registration beginning at 5:15pm. Categories include Great Smile, Biggest Personality, Craziest Hair, and more! Participants may register for up to two categories and will be divided up by gender and age (0-9 Months and 10-18 Months).

Sunday, September 3
Come out for a Yorkville Hometown Days favorite, the Dempsey Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Pride & Joy Car Show on Sunday, September 3 from 9am – 2pm. The show is hosted by a live DJ and features classic cars of a variety of makes and models. Register by Wednesday, August 30 and save $5 by going to Yorkville.il.us/register, or day-of registration is available for $20. Registration form available here.

Vendors
The Parks and Recreation Department is currently looking for vendors and exhibitors for the Annual Hometown Days Festival. Space is limited so be sure to register early. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. Completed applications will be reviewed by the committee and applicants will receive mail correspondence confirming or denying acceptance to the festival.
