2024 Winter Basketball

These leagues are designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a fun recreational environment. Skills that will be focused on include dribbling, shooting, passing, offense and defense. There will be an 8 game schedule with games played on Saturdays. Games will not be made up in the event of a weather cancellation. Practices will be held once a week at night (Monday-Thursday) with the day and time dependent on the coach. The registration fee includes a t-shirt, medal, and gym supervision. League Philosophy

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department strives to provide fun and educational athletic leagues and programs in a safe environment.  Although sports are competitive in nature, our goal is to keep the level of play fair amongst all teams.  We do not guarantee that any requests made during the registration process are honored and expect that all parents, players and coaches abide by the attached Code of Conduct.

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department will share game cancellations and announcements through an online system. You can view the program status online, sign up for text and/or email alerts, or download the mobile app.
