Winter Kindergarten and Girls Basketball

GIRLS WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE OVERVIEW

The Girls Winter Basketball Leagues are designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and recreational environment. Skills that will be focused on include dribbling, shooting, passing, and offensive/defensive principles. There will be a 7-game schedule with games played on Saturdays. Games will not be made up in the event of a weather cancellation. Practices will be held once a week at night (Monday-Thursday) with the day and time dependent on the coach. The registration fee for this league includes a t-shirt, medal and gym supervision. Questions regarding this league can be directed to our Athletics Team.

COED KINDERGARTEN WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE

The COED Kindergarten Winter Basketball League is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and recreational environment. Skills that will be focused on include dribbling, shooting, passing, and offensive/defensive principles. Each week will feature a 45-minute practice in the evening with the day and time dependent on the coach. Each Saturday will feature a scrimmage against another team in the program. The registration fee for this league includes a t-shirt, medal and gym supervision. Please note that space is limited in this COED league. Questions regarding this league can be directed to our Athletics Team.

REGISTER FOR GIRLS & COED KINDERGARTEN WINTER BASKETBALL

Registration for the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's Girls & COED Kindergarten Winter Basketball League is accepted online at Yorkville.il.us/RegisterGirlsBasketball. Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. A $10 late fee will be added to all registrations taken after the designated registration deadline as space allows. PAYMENT PLANS

Payment plans are available for Winter Basketball Leagues which allows families to split their total registration fees into separate payments. Payments are charged automatically via a credit card provided during the registration process. Payment plan participants must register during the scheduled registration period in order to be eligible to participate. All payment plans are subject to the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Automatic Payment Agreement. Final payments must be made by the scheduled start date of each league in order to avoid suspension or withdrawal from the program. Please pay close attention to the credit card chosen for automatic payment during the registration process as our system DOES NOT automatically delete old or compromised credit cards.
