The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Youth Soccer Leagues are designed to help young athletes learn and further develop their soccer skills in a fun, recreational atmosphere. 

These leagues include a 7-8 game schedule (weather permitting) with the majority of games taking place on Saturdays. Practice days and times are determined by the coach's availability.

SOCCER LEAGUE INFORMATION

Please note that dates and dynamics for the Youth Soccer Leagues are subject to change as needed. Games will not be made up in the event of a weather cancellation. Players will be notified of their practice days and times approximately 2 weeks prior to the season beginning. 

Please indicate any scheduling conflicts when completing the registration process. The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department does not guarantee that all requests will be honored. Jerseys are NOT included with the registration fee and are required for games. Jerseys can be purchased from Yorkville City Hall (651 Prairie Pointe Dr, Yorkville) for $30 and may be worn for future seasons.

*The Late Fall Soccer League is designed to further develop your soccer skills for four weeks from October 24 - November 14. Teams will meet for an hour and fifteen minutes on Saturdays. The first 30 minutes will consist of a practice with your team and the last forty-five minutes will consist of a scrimmage.

REGISTER FOR SOCCER

Registrations for the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's Youth Soccer Leagues are accepted online at Yorkville.il.us/RegisterSoccer. Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. A $10 late fee will be added to all registrations taken after the designated registration deadline as space allows. Field Sponsor

EQUIPMENT

Shin guards are required for all Youth Soccer practices and games. Plastic cleats are not required but are highly recommended to avoid slipping and sliding. Metal cleats are not allowed for the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's Youth Soccer Leagues. Ball sizes differ amongst our Youth Soccer Leagues and include:

  • 3 Year Old Kindergarten: Size 3 Ball
  • Grades 1-4: Size 4 Ball
  • Grades 5-8: Size 5 Ball

SCHEDULES

Practice schedules are based on the coach's availability and may change depending on weather conditions. Please contact your coach to receive details regarding your practice schedule. Any other questions can be directed to our Athletics Team.

FIELD LOCATIONS FOR PARKING

Parking locations will differ depending on the age/grade Youth Soccer division your child is registered for.

  • 3 Year Old - 2nd Grade should use the Galena Road entrance near "Go For It Sports"
  • Grades 3 & Up should enter the Bristol Bay Subdivision and park near the Bristol Bay Elementary School located at 427 Bristol Bay Dr, Yorkville

RAINOUT LINE GAME CANCELLATION AND PROGRAM UPDATE SYSTEM

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department will share game cancellations and announcements through the RainOut Line online system. Through this update system, you can view the Youth Soccer League status, sign up for text and/or email alerts, or download the mobile app all from your fingertips!

Android and iPhone apps are available. Once downloaded from your phone's app store, search "Yorkville Parks and Recreation" and add as your favorite. Once this is added as a favorite, individual programs can be chosen for updates.

PAYMENT PLANS

Payment plans are available for Youth Soccer Leagues which allows families to split their total registration fees into separate payments. Payments are charged automatically via a credit card provided during the registration process. Payment plan participants must register during the scheduled registration period in order to be eligible to participate. All payment plans are subject to the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Automatic Payment Agreement. Final payments must be made by the scheduled start date of each league in order to avoid suspension or withdrawal from the program. Please pay close attention to the credit card chosen for automatic payment during the registration process as our system DOES NOT automatically delete old or compromised credit cards.
