Future Foxes Preschool
2023-2024 preschool information
We are excited to announce the details for the 2023-2024 School Year! The Future Foxes Preschool focuses on your child's overall developmental needs by providing a stimulating environment through hands-on experiences that improve creativity, develop a positive self-image, foster language, science and mathematics development, and sharpen fine and gross motor skills. Your child will discover play and sharing while developing emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually.
The curriculum is based off the Yorkville School District 115 standards and designed to prepare children for a successful transition to Kindergarten while fostering a love for school and learning.
The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department partners with the Yorkville CUSD 115 to provide unparalleled opportunities that will bring student enrichment to best prepare your child for Kindergarten!
This partnership gives both the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and District 115 the ability to work closely together, share resources, and create a preschool curriculum based on the current district standards. This will create a seamless transition from Preschool to Kindergarten for students attending the program.
The Future Foxes Preschool will provide a unique experience for both the preschoolers and Yorkville High School students who are interested in pursuing education as a career. The classrooms are designed for High School students to explore and gain experience within the education field. By partnering with the Future Foxes Preschool, these future educators will gain experience through both observation and by assisting within the classroom under the guidance of staff. This unique opportunity provides a warm and engaging environment for your preschool student to learn and develop.
The Future Foxes Preschool is located at the District 115 Athletic/Activities Building located at 702 Game Farm Rd, Yorkville. This secure facility was newly renovated in 2022 and designed specifically with our preschooler's overall development and safety in mind. This location offers a fenced-in outdoor space and playground for preschoolers to utilize throughout the school year.
A Three Year Old and Four Year Old program will be offered for the 2023-2024 school year with both morning and afternoon sessions available. The Future Foxes Preschool meets for 2.5 hours each day and focuses on students' overall developmental needs by providing a stimulating environment through hands-on learning experiences. Students will discover play and sharing while developing emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. Students must be potty trained and turn the corresponding age by September 1, 2023 to register for preschool.
