Child Development Programs

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department provides several programs that will provide children with intellectual stimulation and social interaction in a clean, safe, and healthy environment through meaningful, appropriate, and playful experiences! Below are a few of the many programs and classes we offer. 2020-2021 Parker’s Preschool Registration

Registration is now available for both the traditional, in-person Parker's Preschool and the new, virtual option - Parker's Preschool To Go!  Both programs are scheduled to begin the week of September 14.  To register, complete the Parker's Preschool Registration Packet below and email the completed packet to the Child Development Coordinator, Rhian Harmon, at RHarmon@yorkville.il.us..

Ready, Set, Go Program

This program is designed to introduce children ages 2-3 to the daily and weekly routine of preschool utilizing curriculum based on Parker’s Preschool, but adapted to meet the needs of this younger age group.  Registration is now available for both the in-person Ready Set Program and the new, virtual option - Ready Set Go Home Academy!  Ready Set Go is scheduled to begin Thursday, September 10.  To register, complete the Ready Set Go Registration Packet below and return to the Child Development Coordinator, Rhian Harmon, by email at RHarmon@yorkville.il.us..

If you would like to visit Parker’s Preschool or Ready Set Go, please call Rhian Harmon at 630-553-4357 or email to schedule an appointment.

Emergency Closings

Parker’s Preschool and Ready Set Go classes will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather and follow the lead of the area’s schools. Parents will be notified via Class Messenger. You may also listen to 107.1 FM WSPY for our school closing announcement, check our Facebook page, or call the Recreation Office at 630-553-4357.

Withdrawals

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department understands that circumstances may arise that require you to withdraw your child from the program. Please use the electronic form below. Please note all cancellation policies do apply as outlined in the tuition contract.
