Child Development Programs

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department provides several programs that will provide children with intellectual stimulation and social interaction in a clean, safe, and healthy environment through meaningful, appropriate, and playful experiences! Below are a few of the many programs and classes we offer. 2021-2022 Parker's Preschool Registration

Registration begins on Monday, February 1 for all students currently enrolled in the 2020-2021 School Year and Monday, February 22 for all new students.  Registration can be completed by going to

2020-2021 Parker’s Preschool 

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department is currently offering two programs for the 2020-2021 School Year including the traditional, in-person Parker's Preschool and the new, virtual option - Parker's Preschool To Go!  Both programs run through May.  Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at to inquire about availability.  Once availability is confirmed, you can complete the registration packet below and return to the Recreation Office.

Ready, Set, Go Program

This program is designed to introduce children ages 2-3 to the daily and weekly routine of preschool utilizing curriculum based on Parker’s Preschool, but adapted to meet the needs of this younger age group.  Contact the Parks and Recreation Department at to confirm availability for the current 2020-2021 School Year.

If you would like to visit Parker’s Preschool or Ready Set Go, please contact the Recreation Office to schedule an appointment.

Emergency Closings

Parker’s Preschool and Ready Set Go classes will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather and follow the lead of the area’s schools. Parents will be notified via Class Messenger. You may also listen to 107.1 FM WSPY for our school closing announcement, check our Facebook page, or call the Recreation Office at 630-553-4357.


The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department understands that circumstances may arise that require you to withdraw your child from the program. Please use the electronic form below. Please note all cancellation policies do apply as outlined in the tuition contract.
