I have an account, but I do not have an email address on file or my email and/or home address has recently changed
If you already have an account and either do not have an email address on file or your email address has recently changed and you cannot login, you will need to contact the Parks and Recreation Department via the Contact Us form or phone at 630-553-4357. Additionally, if your mailing address has changed since your last registration, you will need to contact the Parks and Recreation Department to update your new mailing address.
I do not remember if I have an account
Click on the "Create An Account" button under the "Forgot Password" box at the top of the page. Enter all of the necessary information on the "Create an Account" page. The system will search for your email and phone number. If you have a phone number or email on file a box will pop up indicating that a "potential duplicate household has been found." This means that you most likely have an account already created. To retrieve your username and password follow the prompt to the user recovery page. This will direct you to a page which will allow you to enter your email so that the system can send you your username and password via email. If a box does not pop up, then you do not have an account yet. You must then fill out the necessary household information and click "Save" at the bottom of the screen.
I do not remember my username or password
Use the "Forgot Password" button under "Account Log In" which will direct you to a page to enter your primary email address. You will then receive two emails which contain your username and password.
How do I change my username, email, and/or password
You must first log in using your current password. After logging in click on "Change Your Password," the second option under the "You Are Logged In" section. You must then type in your current password. You then can change your username and/or password in the indicated boxes. After all your changes are made click "save changes". If you do not remember your current email or password please see the question above.
How do I change my contact information (phone number, etc)
Log in to your account from Yorkville.il.us/register and click on "Update Account Details" under the "You Are Logged In" section. Update the necessary information and click "Save" at the bottom of the page. If your home address has changed, you will need to contact the Parks and Recreation Department in order to update your new address.
How do I add a member to my household and/or update my child’s grade
Log in to your account from Yorkville.il.us/register and click on "Update Account Details" under the "You Are Logged In" section. Add the information for any new household members or update the necessary information and click "Save" at the bottom of the page. It is imperative that you ensure that all information for each household member is entered accurately when you add that member to your household as most of the programs offered are age-dependent. Once a member’s birth date is entered and you press "Save" you will be unable to edit the date, for this reason we ask that you review your entries carefully before saving your household. If a birth date is entered inaccurately, you might experience difficulty registering that member online for programs that they should be eligible to enroll in. If a birth date is inaccurate in your household, you will need to contact the Parks and Recreation Department in order to update the birth date.
I am a non-resident but go to the Yorkville School District and I am getting charged the non-resident rate for a program held in a Yorkville school
If you are a non-resident whose child attends Yorkville schools and you are registering for a program that is held at a Yorkville school, then you are eligible for the resident rate for that program. In order for a non-resident to receive the resident rate for a program held at one of the Yorkville schools, you must register for that program over the phone by calling the Recreation Department at 630-553-4357.
My child will not be old enough for a program when it starts, but they come of age during the run of the program, can I still register them
For most activities, as long as your child will come of age during the run of the program they are eligible to participate. To find out if the program you are interested in is eligible and/or to register for that program you must contact the Parks and Recreation Department and request to register for that program over the phone by calling 630-553-4357.
**Please note that while many activities will allow for registration as long as the child comes of age during the run of the program, some activities do have strict age restrictions and will not allow for registration outside of the age limit.
I cannot find the program I am looking for when using the Activity Number search online
In order for the “Activity Number” search to function properly, please make sure to follow these simple guidelines:
- Make sure that the “Keyword Search” box is completely empty. Entering information into both search boxes will result in a failed search. Please either search by activity number or by keyword.
- When searching by Activity number, please only enter the 6 numbers before the dash. For example, if the course code in the catalog is listed as “123456-7”, you would enter only “123456” into the search box. These numbers are the code for that specific activity and, once entered, will allow you to browse all of the available sessions offered for that course.
The program I selected is not in my shopping cart after I clicked the plus (+) sign
After you select a program and click on the plus (+) sign to add that item to your cart, there is a large, green “add to cart” box that pops up and floats at the bottom of the screen. If you are registering on a computer, this box will appear in the lower left corner; on a smart phone the “add to cart” box will appear at the bottom of your screen. This selection box floats, so you will not have to scroll to see it. Once you click the selection to "add to cart", you will be able to move forward with your registration for that program.
After adding a program to my cart, I was returned to the program selection page before selecting the participant for the program
Once you have selected a program to add to your cart and clicked the "add to cart" button, you will be directed to the next step of the registration process. WebTrac will automatically populate a selection page with all of the family members who are eligible to register for the selected program. If only one member of your household fits the age criteria of the program, only one person will show up. For this reason, it is important to ensure that all of your family members have been added to your household, and that you have entered their birth dates correctly (see How do I add a member to my household and/or update my child’s grade above). In order to continue adding the program to your cart, you must select the box to the left of the participant’s name and then you may select continue to move forward with the registration.
An error message popped up indicating that there are no family members eligible to purchase the program I have selected
There are a couple of possible solutions when this error message pops up:
First, verify that the person you are trying to register for the program is in your Household. To do this, select the My Account tab at the top of the screen, from the drop-down menu under the "Update" heading on the left, select "Household & Member". It is easy to forget which members of your family have been added to your household; it is safe to assume that if a member has not participated in a Parks and Recreation program before, then they may not be in the system for your household and will need to be added. (How do I add a member to my household and/or update my child’s grade).
Once you have verified that the intended participant is already in your household, check to see that the birth date listed for that member is correct. Note that once a family member is initially created in the system you will not be able to update the family member’s birthday (this was recently changed). All birthdays can only be added or changed by Parks and Recreation staff. All league registrations are now based off the participants’ birthdays, not grades as it had been in the past.
