The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department has an exciting lineup of over 20 special events planned for this year! With an array of small and large events throughout the year, you can customize your marketing experience by sponsoring the events that target the market your business is looking to capture! Through strategic partnerships, the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department can provide you with an unparalleled multifaceted advertising approach that includes exposure for your business through website, social media, and event exposure! We offer sponsorship packages for our events and athletics at a variety of price points to fit your business's budget, and the flexibility to customize your sponsorship to fit your marketing needs!

How does it work?

Look through the sponsorship information for our special events in the table below. Click on the link next to the special event you would like to sponsor or click this link, to fill out the electronic sponsorship application and upload your logo for the event(s) that you are interested in. Once we have received your application, a staff member will reach out to you and arrange for payment. Sponsorship information and application links will upload as they become available.

	St. Patrick's Day Celebration March 11 & 18, 2023 Multiple Locations Packed with activities and events the entire family can enjoy, the Yorkville St. Patrick's Day Celebration is the official kick-off to the event season in Yorkville! Join hundreds of Yorkville area residents at the Irish Parade (free to participate in the parade), search the City parks for the pot of gold in the Lucky Leprechaun scavenger hunt, and cap off the festivities with a breathtaking fireworks display! Downtown businesses help make the celebration complete as live music, food & drink specials, and other festive activities are hosted at several of Yorkville’s restaurants and businesses! 	Margaritas en Mayo May 25, 2023 Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave) & Downtown Yorkville This fun fiesta is full of colors, free family activities, live music & dance performances, and fabulous food and drinks, including – you guessed it – local craft margaritas from participating local businesses! Serving over 2,000 patrons in a 4-hour event, local families pack downtown Yorkville every year for this colorful celebration. This year’s event will be held in conjunction with Yorkville school’s Bilingual Parent Advisory Council (BPAC) member picnic, and will feature a fireworks show at Riverfront Park in the evening. 	Cruise Nights May 31 & August 2, 2023 Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave) Cruise Nights are back this summer along the Fox River! Relax, enjoy the scenic views, and listen to great music while you mingle with fellow car enthusiasts. With approximately 100 cars on display, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your brand to a captive audience of car enthusiasts. Don't miss out on the chance to get your business in front of hundreds of potential customers. Don't miss out on this unique experience! 	FORE! Yorkville Golf Outing June 15, 2023 Blackberry Oaks Golf Course (2245 Kennedy Rd, Bristol) The United City of Yorkville and Yorkville Educational Foundation have joined together to provide a day of networking, food and prizes as you golf for a cause in the FORE! (Friends of Recreation and Education) Yorkville Golf Outing! Your support goes directly to programs that help special needs students within the District 115 and the residents within the Yorkville Community! Your Support Matters Our community relies on the businesses, families and friends that attend each year! Your continued support allows us to serve our community with outstanding educational opportunities, family programs and recreational activities. Funds raised during this golf outing benefit students with a wide-range of academic abilities. The FORE! 	Hometown Days Festival August 31 - September 3, 2023 Beecher Park (908 Game Farm Rd) Be a part of Yorkville's largest festival this summer! Hometown Days Festival consistently draws about 20,000 patrons from Yorkville and the surrounding communities over the course of the weekend. Featuring live music nightly, carnival rides, craft vendors, character meet & greets, craft beer tasting, adult date night, pinewood derby, and so much more, there is something for everyone to enjoy! 	Halloween Egg Hunt October 20, 2023 Town Square (301 N Bridge St) Looking for a unique way to market your business this Halloween season? Sponsor our Halloween egg hunt in Town Square! With 200 attendees expected, your brand will have excellent exposure. This egg hunt is no ordinary event either - participants will be using flashlights to find their eggs! 	Yorkville Holiday Celebration November 17 & 18, 2023 Multiple Locations The Yorkville Holiday Celebration is the City’s official kick-off to the holiday season! Each year families from Yorkville and the surrounding communities join us for a weekend of festive family fun, making this event a popular family tradition. This highly attended event is an incredible marketing opportunity for businesses who are looking to build their brand, and customer base, within the community they serve. An event so popular, even Santa makes the trip to Yorkville for the whole weekend! Holiday Celebration boasts a delightful assortment of activities including the tree lighting ceremony for the City’s 22-foot Christmas tree, lighted holiday parade, craft bazaar, visits with Santa all weekend long, Rudolph Run 5K and Jingle Jog Fun Run races, and capping off the weekend with a fabulous fireworks display. Athletic League Sponsorships

Our athletic leagues are thriving! Increasing in popularity year-over-year, The Yorkville Parks and Recreation's Athletic Leagues and Tournaments have been fine-tuned and cultivated to create lasting positive impressions on thousands of families each year.

Athletic league sponsors help us maintain our fields and facilities, and keep sports affordable for young athletes and their families. Athletic league sponsorships provide your business with the potential for positive exposure to thousands of families from not just Yorkville, but the surrounding communities, multiple times per week during practices, games, and tournaments. Select sponsorships include exclusive perks such as naming a field after your business for the athletic year, complete with an individual banner and your business name included on the schedule that is passed out to all registered families!

Once we have received your application, a staff member will reach out to you and arrange for payment and to take you color preference for jerseys if your sponsorship comes with that option. Sponsorship information and application links will upload as they become available.

	Spring Fall	Youth Baseball/Softball Leagues Approximately 900 kindergarten-12th grade participants each season. 2 seasons offered: Spring/Summer and Fall. Between weekly practices and games, there will be potential exposure to thousands of people in attendance at the fields each week from our In-House leagues alone; plus, additional attendance for Adult Softball, Travel, and any tournaments that may be played on our fields.
