Salary Posting Requirements
Per Public Act 097-0609, any employer participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement fund must, within 6 business days after approving a budget, post on its website the total compensation package for each employee having a total compensation package that exceeds $75,000 per year.

Definition of Total Compensation Package
The total compensation package is the payment by the employer to the employee for:
  • Bonuses
  • Clothing allowance
  • Health insurance
  • Housing allowance
  • Loans
  • Salary
  • Sick days granted
  • Vacation days granted
  • Vehicle allowance
