Join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department this year at the Yorkville Holiday Celebration as we spread some holiday cheer with a Parade starting at 6:30pm. The parade will begin at the corner of E Hydraulic Ave and Mill Street, proceed West down Hydraulic Avenue, and end at Route 47. We ask all parade spectators to view the parade on the North side of Hydraulic Ave along the sidewalk of Riverfront Park.
Create A Float
Everyone is eligible to have a float within the parade and all interested participants are encouraged to submit a Parade Sign-Up Form or contact the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department at Recreation@yorkville.il.us to confirm a space within the parade. Floats will be accepted the day of the parade as space allows, and are encouraged to have lights illuminating their float as it will be dark during the parade.
Floats should meet at the easternmost end of Hydraulic Ave near the Riverfront Park Playground starting at 5:45pm with the parade scheduled to begin at 6:30pm. Floats will be placed within the parade on a first-come, first-serve basis. Click here for more information about placing a float in the parade.
