Sanitary Sewer Lining

Project Scope:

The lining project is located on Kendall Dr from W Countryside Pkwy to Dickson Ct, Mill St from E Hydraulic Ave to Fox Rd, Van W Emmon St from Adams St to State St,  Morgan St from Ridge St to Fox Rd, Circle Center Grade School, and other locations south of Hydraulic Ave and North of Orange St. The televising is along W Hydraulic Ave west of Morgan St running along the most western property lines south to Elizabeth St. Please refer to the location map for additional details.                                         

This project consists of 8-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch cured-in-place pipe lining of existing sanitary sewer and installing new manholes on existing dead end sewer mains.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   The project will involve a resin sanitary sewer liner installation with the removal of mineral deposits and roots from the sewer line within the project location. Sanitary services will not be out of service for more than 12 hours during the lining process. Sanitary sewers will be televised and documented. New sanitary manholes will be installed at the existing dead end sewer lines which will require excavation and road patching at these locations.

Parkway Restoration:

Residents should be advised that lawn care and maintenance of parkway areas will be necessary to successfully provide a healthy stand of grass before the growing season’s end. The hydro-mulch application is designed to only provide temporary protection for the grass seed, and as such it will be advantageous for residents to establish growth as soon as possible.

Lawn care and maintenance that will facilitate healthy grass germination include the following:

  • Watering seeded areas within a maximum of two days from the last   appreciable rainfall. 
  • Mowing of established stands of grass prior to reaching a height of four to five inches
  • Pulling of weeds competing for nutrients 

During construction, there may be temporary disruptions to water service, traffic, parking and access to properties.
