Proposed Project

Steve Weber, representing PTS Corp. as the contract lessee and petitioner, along with IREIT Yorkville Marketplace LLC % Invest Prop Tax Serv Inc, the property owner, has submitted an application for special use authorization to the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois. The request seeks to operate a cannabis dispensary business within an existing commercial strip development zoned B-3 General Business District, in compliance with Section 10-4-14, Medical and Adult Use Cannabis Standards, of the Yorkville Unified Development Ordinance. The subject property is approximately 0.34 acres and is located at 344 E. Veterans Parkway. It is situated within the Yorkville Marketplace development, east of North Bridge Street (IL Route 47), north of Landmark Drive, and west of Marketplace Drive in Yorkville, Illinois.

Public Hearing

The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for TBD at the United City of Yorkville, City Hall, located at 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville, Illinois 60560.  Remote attendance will also be available via Zoom. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given opportunity to be heard.  Any written comments should be addressed to the United City of Yorkville Community Development Department, City Hall, 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville Illinois, and will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing.

NOTE: The schedule of meetings is tentative in nature.  If a previous meeting is cancelled or a quorum is not established, then all future meetings will be delayed until the next available meeting date.  It is important that each reviewing body gets a chance to review the proposal before advancing to the next meeting.
