Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Not permitted on Sundays or Legal Holidays
Permitted Hours for Mobile Food Vendors
Monday - Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Notice Regulating Soliciting and Hawking Activities:
Any owner or resident may restrict solicitation or limit the hours during which hawkers and solicitors are invited to his or her residence by posting that intention. Notice of restricting solicitation or limiting a hawker's or solicitor's hours by the owner or resident shall be given by a weatherproof card or sign that shall be exhibited upon or near the main entrance door to the residence, indicating
NO SOLICITORS INVITED or SOLICITATION LIMITED TO THE HOURS OF:
*Note: Any reference to "solicitors" on said card or sign shall include both hawkers and solicitors.

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in soliciting, hawking or business as an itinerant merchant without first having obtained a certificate of registration.

Mobile Vendors
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in mobile service without first having obtained a certificate of registration from the United City of Yorkville and a permit from the Kendall County Health Department. Liquor Sales
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell at retail alcoholic liquor within the corporate limits of the city without having a license to do so, issued by the local commissioner.

Amusement Devices and Video Gaming Terminals
No person shall operate, conduct, or maintain an amusement device open to the public without first having obtained a license.

No person, either as owner, manager, lessee, officer or agent, or in any other capacity, shall operate or permit to be operated as a pawnbroker or resale dealership without first having obtained a license.

Going out of Business, Insurance, or Fire Damaged Goods Sales
No person shall advertise, represent, or hold out that any sale of goods, wares, or merchandise is an insurance, salvage, removal, closing out, going out of business, liquidation, or creditors' sale, or a sale of goods, wares, or merchandise damaged by fire, smoke, water or otherwise damaged, unless he/she shall have first obtained a license to conduct such a sale.
