Case Number: PZC 2024-26 DMYF, LLLP (Annexation and Rezone)

Proposed Project

DMYF, LLLP, petitioner/owner, has filed applications with the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, requesting annexation and rezoning classification. The real property to be annexed consists of four (4) parcels totaling approximately 268.30 acres and is generally located at the northwest corner of West Veterans Parkway (US 34) and Beecher Road. The petitioner is also seeking rezoning approval from R-1 Single-Family Suburban Residential District to M-2 General Manufacturing District (contingent on approval of annexation by the City Council). The land is currently undeveloped and used for farming. The purpose of this annexation and rezoning is to allow for future manufacturing development on the property pursuant to the terms of an annexation agreement.

Public Hearings

The ANNEXATION public hearing is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the United City of Yorkville, City Hall, located at 651 Prairie Point Drive, Yorkville, Illinois 60560.

The REZONING public hearing is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the United City of Yorkville, City Hall, located at 651 Prairie Point Drive, Yorkville, Illinois 60560.  

NOTE: The schedule of meetings is tentative in nature.  If a previous meeting is cancelled or a quorum is not established, then all future meetings will be delayed until the next available meeting date.  It is important that each reviewing body gets a chance to review the proposal before advancing to the next meeting.

Remote attendance will also be available via Zoom. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given opportunity to be heard.  Any written comments should be addressed to the United City of Yorkville Community Development Department, City Hall, 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville Illinois, and will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing.
