Electricity distribution and service is available within City limits via ComEd.  All electricity services account questions should be directed to ComEd at their website.

Report an Electricity Outage

Please immediately report all electricity service interruptions to ComEd via one of their outage reporting methods. ComEd's electricity distribution system relies on customer generated outage reports for their planning and execution of system repairs.

United City of Yorkville Electric Aggregation Program

A Chicago based company, MC Squared Energy Services, LLC (mc²), was selected to serve the eligible residents and small business customers with an electric supply price equal to the ComEd rate for a 20-month term beginning with the April 2024 ComEd meter read cycle.  In addition, this Electric Aggregation Program provides us with a civic contribution for community initiatives at zero added cost to residents and the City. Residents will receive this information mailed directly to your home.
