Overview
The Mayor appoints 2 members with the remaining positions being elected. The board exercises powers and performs duties that are required of them by law. All monies and securities belonging to the fund are held by the municipal treasurer subject to the order of the board of trustees of the pension fund. An annual list of beneficiaries and report of funds is made as required by law. Members of the board of trustees serve without compensation.
