Art in City Hall

The United City of Yorkville is enhancing the awareness of art in the community through the Art in City Hall program.

Artists & Mediums

Whether you are a novice or seasoned veteran, the City is seeking artists for a series of exhibits. The program strives to provide a variety of mediums and techniques, including:
  • Ceramics
  • Collage
  • Drawings
  • Fiber
  • Glass
  • Jewelry
  • Mixed media
  • Paper
  • Photography
  • Prints
  • Sculpture
  • Stationery
  • Wood

Viewing Times

& Location

Exhibits are featured several times a year and are on display for a 2 to 3 month period in the City Hall Council Chambers. Public exhibit viewing is available between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the City Hall Council Chamber.

What the City is Looking For

We are currently seeking artists, schools, or organizations that would like to submit their artwork for review to do a future exhibit in City Hall.

Submission Requirements

Interested artists or organizations may be considered by submitting:
  • Pictures of 4-5 pieces from the artist, or links to the artist's website or social media account
  • Resume
  • Artist's/organizational statement

The United City of Yorkville will provide publicity including:
  • Feature story
  • Press releases
  • Radio advertising
