The Park Rental and Use Policy of the United City of Yorkville has been established to provide a systematic method by which Parks and park amenities (Shelters, Gazebos and other amenities) may be reserved by the residents of the community. A reservation is not required for park use for occasional play. Multiple activities or special use (which includes use by a resident or groups, multiple days, or week play for a designated area) a permit is required and will guarantee use for the dates and times specified on the permit. All United City of Yorkville Playground Areas shall remain open for public access and public pathways located within any United City of Yorkville Park shall remain open to the public at all times. Occasionally parks may be excluded from the reservation availability.

The fee schedule link below outlines the minimum fees for small events(parties and gatherings). Groups of 100 people or more may require additional fees.
All reservations require a deposit as outlined in the Park Reservation Policy.

The Parks and Recreation Department does not guarantee any park is available on your requested day and time.

Requests include: Electric, Water or similar amenities. The Parks and Recreation Department does not provide tables and folding chairs but does allow them to brought to the requested park. They must be taken down after the event.
Requests of inflatable equipment or other amusement type equipment(such as inflatable bounce houses) will require insurance naming the United City of Yorkville (800 Game Farm RD, Yorkville) as additionally insured. We cannot guarantee any request. All requests must be approved by Parks and Recreation Staff prior to the event.
NOTE: Deposit amounts are based off of the number of individuals estimated to attend your event. Per the policy events with an estimated attendance of over 100 people must pay additional fees and supply insurance naming the United City of Yorkville (651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville) as additionally insured.
Large events will require a formal plan, insurance and approval from multiple City Departments. Approval can take up to two weeks to complete.
PLEASE NOTE: Grilling or open flame is not allowed in any city park per city ordinance.
Food Trucks/Food Vendors: All food trucks and vendors must apply for additional permitting through the clerk's office and the Parks and Recreation Department. For more information please visit the link below.
