Near the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, this train-themed park let children be the conductors! The playground consists of a “water tower” play structure, a playground with a climbing wall, several slides, and wheelchair access onto a 3-foot high deck. A challenge course provides an opportunity to test strength and agility. The tot area consists of 2 tot swings and a play structure with a train engine, 2 cars, and a caboose! A large shelter and entrance arch add to the overall train theme. A ball field, walking trail, and native landscaping are also included as part of the design.

ATHLETIC FIELD AVAILABILITY

During the Baseball/Softball Season (April – October), all City of Yorkville baseball fields are reserved for the City’s In-House Baseball/Softball League  or by a local Travel Team.

Please Note The Following

  • If the field is noticeably striped, dragged or prepped for a game, please remain off the field.

  • If a team arrives for a scheduled practice or game, anyone not associated with organization will need to clear off the field.

  • In general, if a field is not being used by a team, they are available for public use.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation
