To conserve water during the hottest summer months, lawn installation is prohibited during July and August. For 2016 this ban has been extended until October 2nd as stated in an Emergency Proclamation by Mayor Gary Golinski on September 16th. This is because two of the City's wells are out of commission due to maintenance and repairs limiting the capacity of the City's overall water system. There are no impacts on any other normal watering restrictions. As you may recall, this extension was originally until September 18th, but is now lengthened. Feel free to call City Hall at 630-553-4350 with any questions.
