To conserve water during the hottest summer months, lawn installation is prohibited during July and August. For 2016 this ban has been extended until September 18th as stated in an Emergency Proclamation by Mayor Gary Golinski. This is because two of the City's wells are out of commission due to maintenance and repairs limiting the capacity of the City's overall water system.
