The City will be conducting a public hearing regarding the adoption of a proposed update to the Yorkville Comprehensive Plan. It will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday, August 10 during the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 800 Game Farm Road.
The proposed changes are a complete rewrite and update of the text of the existing Comprehensive Plan and future land use map, and include a general update to the long range plan for future development with regards to land use, transportation, infrastructure and utilities, environmental and agricultural preservation, economic development, recreation and open space, and housing.
