[ARCHIVED] Yorkville Parks & Recreation Suspending Recreation Programs

suspended

In conjunction with Governor Pritzker’s extension of the Executive Order and to help stop the spread of COVID-19, all programs through the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department will continue to be suspended through April 30. The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department fully plans to move forward with programs, events and sports leagues once it is deemed safe for our participants. These programs will have adjusted dates and schedules as this situation progresses; however, staff is currently planning creative and realistic alternatives to ensure we continue to provide quality programs to our participants and families once we can return to normal activity. If we find that a program cannot continue, participants will be notified and options will be presented for consideration. We encourage you to continue participating in the virtual opportunities provided by the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department to stay engaged and active during this difficult time. We will continue to update you as decisions are made and appreciate your patience and understanding as we all navigate this unprecedented situation.
