Flags of Valor, Monday, November 4th - Monday, November 11th

The Yorkville American Legion Post 489 and the United City of Yorkville invite you to honor our nation and the veterans who have served with the 2019 Yorkville Flags of Valor as American flags are displayed at Town Square starting Monday, November 4th through Monday, November 11th. A flag can be sponsored for $30 and will include a keepsake ribbon and personalized tag to honor a veteran (optional). This is an opportunity to recognize and honor a veteran in your life or support the hundreds of veterans in Yorkville and Kendall County. Everyone is welcome to participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Yorkville American Legion Post 489. Leaf Pick-Up Reminder

Mark your calendars! The City Leaf Pick-Up will be in the first half of November.
November 12 - 15 (north of the Fox River)
November 18 – 22 (south of the Fox River)
Please have leaves on the curb (as close as possible) by 7:00 AM on the Monday of your pick-up week. Also, please keep all other items out of the leaf pile (garbage, hay bales, corn stalks, bags, etc..)

City Offices Closed in Observance of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th. No Garbage Delay.

City offices will be closed Monday, November 11^th for Veterans Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, November 12^th. Garbage collection will run on a normal schedule for the entire week.
