Holiday Celebration Weekend

Come join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation for a weekend of holiday fun! On Saturday, November 17th come out to Circle Center Grade School for the Winter Wonderland Festival during the day. Then make your way down to Riverfront Park for the Holiday Celebration for a parade, tree lighting ceremony, and fireworks. Chili Chase 5K

Gear up for the Holiday season with the United City of Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's Chili Chase 5K Run and Walk! The race begins at 8:30 am on Sunday, November 18th and will go through the Heartland Subdivision. All runners will warm-up after the race with a hot bowl of chili provided by Trinity United Methodist Men! Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast With Santa

Join the United City of Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and Senior Services Associates on Saturday, December 1st from 8:00 - 9:30 AM at the Beecher Community Center (908 Game Farm Road) for a morning of games, crafts, a yummy hot breakfast and a visit from Santa at this fun, family event! Private Visits with Santa - December 1st and 2nd

Avoid the lines, noisy crowds, and rushed encounters this year! The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department is offering your family the chance to have a private visit with Santa! On Saturday, December 1 (Noon-3:00 pm) and Sunday, December 2 (9:00 am-1:00 pm) at the Recreation Administration Office, 201 W. Hydraulic. For $20 per family, you will enjoy a 15 minute, private encounter with Santa to check wish lists, take pictures, and make the holiday season extra magical! Register for your time-slot now by going to www.yorkville.il.us/register as there are limited sessions available and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Please note a professional photographer will not be available so don't forget to bring your camera!

Offices Closed

City Offices Closed in Observance of Thanksgiving

City offices will be closed Thursday November 22nd and Friday November 23rd for Thanksgiving.  Normal hours will resume on Monday November 26th.  

Garbage Delayed

Garbage Pick-Up Delayed Due to Thanksgiving

Due to Thanksgiving, garbage pick-up will be delayed by one day this week. For example if your garbage normally is collected on Thursday, it will be collected on Friday instead. Call Advanced Disposal at 630-587-8282 with any questions.
