Flags of Valor

The Yorkville American Legion post 489 and the Veterans Outreach for Kendall County invite you to honor our nation and all of the veterans who have served with the 2018 Yorkville Flags of Valor. There will be American flags on display at Town Square Park (301 North Bridge Street) during the week of Veterans Day (November 5 – 12). If you would like to sponsor a flag, you may do so for $30/flag. The flag includes a keepsake ribbon and the option to personalize a tag to recognize and honor a veteran in your life. We invite everyone to pay tribute to veterans by visiting Town Square Park to view the flags. City Leaf Pick-Up

The City Leaf Pick-Up will be conducted on the following days:
November 5 - 9 (south of the Fox River)
November 12 – 16 (north of the Fox River)
Please have leaves on the curb by 7am on the Monday of your pick-up week.

Daylight Savings Time starts November 4^th. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour.

City Offices Closed in Observance of Veterans Day

City offices will be closed Monday, November 12^th for Veterans Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, November 13^th. Garbage collection will run on a normal schedule for the entire week.
