FUTURE FOXES PRESCHOOL (Ages 3 – 5)

The Future Foxes Preschool focuses on your child’s overall developmental needs by providing a stimulating environment through hands-on experiences that improve creativity, develop a positive self-image, foster language, science, and mathematics development, and sharpen fine and gross motor skills. Your child will discover play and sharing while developing emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. The curriculum is based on the Yorkville School District 115 standards and designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten while fostering a love for school and learning.

READY SET GO PROGRAM (Ages 2 – 3)

The Ready Set Go Program is designed to introduce children, ages 2-3, to the daily and weekly routine of preschool. Class will focus on the children’s overall developmental needs by providing a stimulating environment through hands-on experiences and play. The daily curriculum is based on the Future Foxes Preschool but adapted to meet the needs of this age group. Our goal is to create a welcoming and safe space for your child to confidently grow socially and emotionally with their peers while reinforcing basic educational skills including letter, number, color, and shape recognition.

Illinois Libraries Present

Illinois Libraries Present

What Exactly Is Illinois Libraries Present? Illinois Libraries Present is a collaboration among more than 200 public libraries across the state. Instead of each library trying to book big-name speakers on their own, everyone contributes a small fee and shares the cost. In return, libraries—and, most importantly, library patrons—get to enjoy a full season of live virtual events. These programs are streamed online and can be watched from home or at the library. Another benefit of ILP is the sense of connection it creates. Your neighbors in Yorkville watch the same program as people in Chicago, Peoria, Quincy, and dozens of other towns across the state. This shared experience sparks conversations—not just online, but inside libraries. When an author like R.F. Kuang appears for an ILP event, readers across Illinois pick up her novels at the same time, discuss them in book clubs, and share thoughts on social media. Suddenly, reading becomes a statewide event. Register online using the link we provide—events are free! If you’ve never attended an ILP program before, we encourage you to try one. They’re fun, informative, and surprisingly personal given the virtual format. From famous authors to beloved entertainers, there’s always something new to discover. To read more about ILP, check out the latest issue of The Hub: https://www.yorkville.lib.il.us/the-hub/
