What do you need to get your library card?
Visit us at the Circulation desk and bring the following:
• Photo ID with current address OR
• Photo ID with proof of residency (examples include: a printed personal check; mail, lease, or rent receipt postmarked within 60 days; account statement or bill; valid car registration; voter registration card)
We will confirm you reside within the library’s boundaries and if so, you will have a library card in your hand within minutes. If you reside outside the library boundaries, we can calculate the annual rate you would pay based on your net taxable value of your current property tax assessment. Any questions regarding library boundaries, please contact our Circulation Manager Sharyl Iwanski via email at SIwanski@yorkville.lib.il.us or by phone at 630-553-4354 ext. 103. We are also happy to report we now have a Reduced Rate for Non-Resident library cards as well as the option to pay biannually or annually!
