The evening will be filled with character meet & greets with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and our very own hometown heroes from the Yorkville Police Department! Try out your ninja skills at the obstacle course or climb into a squad car at the touch-a-truck! Bring your swim gear and cool off at the splash pad! We cannot wait to see you there! The 2023 Hometown Days Festival is a family-oriented event that provides entertainment the entire family can enjoy!  We are excited to bring back again this year the past favorites including the Ultimate Air Dogs Competition, Baby Contest, Bags Tournament, Big Band & BBQ, Adult Date Night, Pride and Joy Car Show, and an exciting lineup of Musical Entertainment. 2023 Summer Reading Program: ALL TOGETHER NOW - June 1 – July 31

We are excited to offer our summer reading program! Beginning on June 1st, log your minutes on the paper log, located at the Youth Service Desk. The paper log is also on the YPL website's main page: https://www.yorkville.lib.il.us/ for at home printing.  We challenge you to read 400 minutes in June and another 400 minutes in July. If you complete and record your minutes, you will earn one raffle ticket for each month completed.  Please stop by the library (or print at home) for your reading log and incentives, then start READING!  The drawing will be August 3rd for the grand prize.
