Community Development Year In Review

The Community Development staff annually presents a “Year In Review” report to the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) of the development proposals, entitlement requests and comprehensive planning efforts accomplished from the prior year. This information also includes building permit data, current construction projects, foreclosure trends and future departmental goals. Road to Better Roads 2021

During 2021 the RTBR program will consist of hot-mix asphalt removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, pavement markings, and crack sealing along several streets within the City as noted in the attached map. Impacts to traffic are expected to be minimal; however daytime lane and roadway closures should be expected. The contract has been awarded and the contractor will be performing and completing removal and replacement of pavements on the following roads:
Greenbriar Road
Beaver Street
Colonial Parkway
Heustis Street
Mill Street
Adam Street
W. Hydraulic Avenue
W. Van Emmon Street
W. Madison Street
State Street
E. Countryside Parkway (pavement marking only)
McHugh Road (pavement marking only)
