Christmas Tree Disposal

January 7 -11th is the last week of Christmas tree pick-up by Advanced Disposal during your normal garbage day. Collection is free of charge and trees do not require a sticker, but they do need to be free of all ornaments, tinsel, garland, and lights.

Recycle Right

We'd like to remind all of our residents to "Recycle Right" and make sure everyone is putting acceptable recyclable items in the recycle bin. Be sure to clean and empty all containers and put material in loose, not in bags.  For more information on recyclable items please visit our website: https://www.yorkville.il.us/163/Recyclable-Items

Snow Parking Regulations

Snow Parking Regulations

Parking on city streets in the United City of Yorkville is prohibited after a snowfall of more than 2 inches. Residents are reminded that parking is banned for 24 hours after the snowfall has ended. Any vehicles parked on city streets are in violation of a city ordinance and may receive a $50 citation.  Also, please do not allow children to play in snow piles left by snow plows on the sides of street or in cul-de-sacs. Building forts in these areas can have serious consequences when snow removal equipment is in use. Thank you for your cooperation during these winter months.
