Memorial Day Service, May 28th in Honor of Our Fallen Hero's at Yorkville Town Square Park. Please join the Mayor, Yorkville Legion, Middle School Band, Boy Scouts, and many others honoring those that served our country. Service begins at 11:30 am.

Park Snapshot - Darlene McCue Kennedy Road Multi-Use Path

The Darlene McCue Kennedy Multi-Use Path is a 2.72 mile trail along Kennedy Road that provides several safe, recreational opportunities to the Yorkville residents to bike, run, or walk.  This path became a reality this spring due to the City, Yorkville community, and business support.  We hope everyone enjoys this path this summer as well as years to come!  

50/50 Parkway Tree Program

50/50 Parkway Tree Program

Rain Barrel Program

The City partners with the Conservation Foundation to promote the reduction of off-site stormwater runoff and best management practices to redirect and conserve rainwater. The City encourages homeowners and businesses to implement methods, such as rain barrels, to capture and efficiently use rainwater. Lawn Watering Restrictions

As a reminder during May-September, lawn watering is only permitted between the hours of 5 and 9 a.m. and/or 9 p.m. and midnight for landscaping watering or the filling of swimming pools. City offices will be closed Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day.  Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, May 29th.

Garbage Pick-Up Delayed 1 Day the Week of May 28th 

Due to Memorial Day on Monday May 28th, garbage pick-up will be delayed by one day. For example if your garbage normally is collected on Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday instead. Normal Friday pick-up will be Saturday. Please call Advanced Disposal at 630-587-8282 with any questions.
