Yorkville Bunny Breakfast & Egg Hunt

Join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and Senior Services for this fun, family event on Saturday, March 24 from 8:00-9:30am at the Beecher Community Center (908 Game Farm Rd, Yorkville)! Families will eat a hot breakfast with the Easter Bunny, create crafts, play games, and then at 9:15am hunt for Easter Eggs! The Egg Hunt will be held outside, so please dress appropriately. The cost is $6 a person and includes breakfast, activities, and the egg hunt. Preregistration is required and all ages must register. Public Hearing: Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget

The United City of Yorkville will hold and conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2018-2019 Annual Budget. This hearing will be held at the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville, IL 60560. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard during the budget process. Anthony Place Update

The senior apartment development located at 1050 Freemont Street, is nearing completion. The two-story, 51-unit affordable housing building has been approved for temporary occupancy by the City of Yorkville’s Community Development department. According to the developer, the project is on track to have residents start moving into the building on or around March 21st. City staff anticipates that full occupancy approval (final occupancy certificate) will occur by the beginning of April 2018.
