Yorkville CUSD 115 Facilities Master Plan Review Session – May 20th (Spanish Session)

District 115 listened, and they heard you!  Now, you are invited to see the progress the Steering Committee has made in developing options based on your feedback as Y115 progresses through the next steps of the Facilities Master Plan. This session will allow you to review the work so far and ask additional questions that will help the committee to refine the plans further before a final presentation is delivered to the Board of Education for consideration. Mark your calendar for the following session to see the options:

Get ready to celebrate! Margaritas en Mayo is happening Thursday, May 22, and you won't want to miss it! Downtown Yorkville is turning into our very own Margaritaville—complete with Mariachi bands, dancing, delicious margaritas, family fun, and vibrant performances that’ll have you feeling those summer vibes. PLUS! The Yorkville Bilingual Parents Advisory Council (BPAC) is hosting their annual Parents Day Picnic in conjunction with Margaritas en Mayo from 5:00-7:30pm at Riverfront Park!  Food and drink specials will be available for purchase at many of the incredible businesses throughout Downtown Yorkville during the event. Due to Memorial Day on Monday, May 26th, garbage pick-up will be delayed by one day. For example, if your garbage normally is collected on Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday instead. Normal Friday pick-up will be Saturday. Please call Groot at 630-892-9294 with any questions.

Schools Out Beach Party –Wednesday, May 28 from 5:00-9:00 pm

Vacation Mode On! The day has finally come! School is out for the summer and it's time to sit back, relax, and dip your toes in the sand as the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department Turns Town Square into a Beach Party! Listen to your favorite beach music and tropical rock hits by Johnny Russler and The Beach Bum Band from 6:00-9:00pm, sip on fruity cocktails and mocktails available for purchase, and enjoy some of your favorite beach games with friends! As a reminder during May-September, lawn watering is only permitted between the hours of 5 and 9 a.m. and/or 9 p.m. and midnight for landscaping watering or the filling of swimming pools.
