English Language Learners (ELL) Adult Classes at the Yorkville Public Library

Can you spare one hour a week? We need your help! English Language Learners (ELL) Adult Classes at the Yorkville Public Library

In the last two years, the Yorkville Public Library's ELL program has grown tremendously! We are seeking a few gracious and dedicated members of the community to help this program continue to thrive and serve the new members of our community.  No teaching experience necessary, and you do not need to be able to speak any other languages. We only ask for a one-hour-per-week commitment to come and speak English with a non-native English Language Learner in our conversation-based classes. Let us know! If you are interested in and willing to help, contact the Yorkville Library's Adult Services Director, Mike, at mcurtis@yorkville.lib.il.us.
