Author Kelly Leigh Miller is coming to the library! September 14^th 9:30 am – 10:00 am and 12:30pm – 1:30 pm for a Graphic Novel Presentation · All Ages Yorkville Public Library (902 Game Farm Rd., Yorkville, IL)

In collaboration with District Y115, the Yorkville Public Library is excited to be hosting author Kelly Leigh Miller on September 14! We are so excited to announce Kelly Leigh Miller will share her books with the group. There will be a book signing after Story Time. Graphic Novel Presentation · 12:30-1:30pm

Kelly Leigh Miller will host a Graphic Novel presentation from 12:30 – 1:30pm, followed by a draw along. There will be a book signing after the presentation. Yorkville StoryWalk September 12^th · 4:30-6:30pm · Family Event Jr Women's Club Park (1267 Taus Cir., Yorkville)

Hosted by the Yorkville Public Library, Yorkville Educational Foundation, and Y115 Library Team, the Third Annual StoryWalk event is an incredibly fun way to ring in the new school year! The StoryWalk will feature a Yorkville Community-chosen Alex Willan book. Join us for music, raffles. and a celebration of story. Frozen treats will be available for purchase.

JOIN THE FUN & ADD A SCARECROW!

Coming this October! The Scarecrow Walk is back this Fall and we are inviting YOU to show off your creativity and submit a scarecrow! Individual families and businesses are encouraged and welcome to participate. Scarecrows can be simple, extravagant, spooky or fun – be creative! Please note all scarecrows must be family friendly. The Scarecrow Walk is located in the woods on the Eastern end of Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville) and will be available beginning September 27th throughout the month of October. Rudolph Run 5K on November 23^rd at 4pm – Register Now!

Gear up for the Yorkville Rudolph Run 5K on November 23 at 4:00pm—an event you simply cannot miss! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a spirited walker, this race promises excitement and camaraderie for all. Professionally chip-timed for accurate results, this non-certified race guarantees a memorable experience. Every participant will receive a race swag bag and a striking 3" custom finisher's medal to commemorate their achievement. Register by September 25 to score an exclusive Ugly Sweater Tech Long Sleeve shirt, adding a festive touch to your running wardrobe.

Looking for a more low-key race? Join us for the annual 1-mile Jingle Jog Family Fun Run on November 23 beginning at 2:30pm! Walk or run in your most festive attire for a chance to win the most festively dressed award in one of 3 categories - Adult (age 18+), Youth (17 and under), and Group! While this race is not timed, racers will receive a custom 3" Jingle Jog finishers medal, jingle bell, swag bag, and a cup of hot chocolate at the hot cocoa bar after the race. Register by September 25 to score this year’s commemorative ugly sweater long sleeve tech shirt!
