Friends of the Yorkville Public Library Used Book Sale – Saturday, August 31st (9am – 4pm) & Sunday September 1st (10am – 3pm) – Held at the Yorkville Public Library

Don't miss out on the annual Used Book Sale hosted by the Friends of the Yorkville Library! Get ready for a weekend of excitement and discovery as you browse through a vast selection of books at incredible prices. Join us on Saturday from 9am-4pm and Sunday 10am-3pm during Yorkville Hometown Days and help support the programs offered through the Yorkville Public Library. Take a minute to explore the new program guide and see what exciting special events we have planned! Registration for the majority of Fall classes and programs begins 8am on Monday, August 19th! Please note that athletic leagues each have their own, unique open registration period, and may not be available for registration on August 19th. City Offices will be closed on Monday, September 2nd.  Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Garbage Delayed Due to the Labor Day Holiday

Garbage Delayed Due to the Labor Day Holiday

Due to Labor Day on Monday September 2nd, garbage pick-up will be delayed by one day that week. For example, if your garbage normally is collected on Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday instead. Normal Friday pick-up will be Saturday.
