Yorkville St. Patrick’s Day Celebration - Saturday, March 11th and Saturday, March 18th 

Join the celebration with two weekends of St. Patrick’s Day fun in Yorkville! Find a delightful array of activities, beginning on Saturday, March 11th as South Bank Original Barbecue hosts their annual RUN SOB RUN 5k to benefit CASA Kendall County. Following the race, get festive with Irish fare and drink specials, music from DJ Ronnie, and live music by Interstate Nineties at 1pm. Keep the celebration going with Yorkville Parks & Recreation’s lineup of annual St. Patrick’s Day events on Saturday, March 18th, kicking off with the “Lucky Leprechaun Hunt” city park scavenger hunt from 9am-noon. Make your way to Riverfront Park to enjoy the Irish Parade at 11am, then explore local restaurants and bars for food & drink specials and live music throughout the day. Fan favorite Gleeson Irish Trio plays at the Law Office Pub at 1pm. Cap off the festivities with the annual St. Patrick’s Day fireworks show beginning at 6:30pm at the corner of Rt 47 and Countryside Parkway.   Participating establishments include The Law Office Pub & Music Hall, Southbank BBQ, Rowdys, Dakotas, Parma Pizza, Iconic Coffee Shop, Suzy’s Bar & Grill, and Roadhouse Rte 47.

Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Saturday, March 25th – Registration Now Open!

The hunt is on for an EGG-cellent adventure at Town Square Park (301 N Bridge St, Yorkville) on Saturday, March 25! Families will have a hoppin’ good time as they hunt for eggs (maximum of 10 eggs/child) and visit with the Easter Bunny! Plus, each child attending will receive an activity bag with crafts, activities, and candy to continue the fun at home! The event costs $10/child.  Two sessions will be available starting at 9:00am and 10:30am. Computer Basics for Seniors - Each Wednesday at 10:00am, Computer Basics for Seniors covers a new topic through hands-on teaching! Laptops are provided for use during class. Each class is designed to help you feel more comfortable using and navigating your laptop or desktop computer and allows for you to ask questions of the instructor while you practice your skills! What’s Your Beat? Music and Mental Health
