October 4th - 8th, Advanced Disposal Amnesty Week - White Goods/Bulk Item Pick-Up

The week of October 4^th is White Goods/Bulk Items Amnesty Week. This is the second pick-up Advanced Disposal conducts (1 in the spring and 1 in the fall) annually. Please note that all White Goods/Bulk items must be on the curb by 6 a.m. on your regular garbage day. Only 1 pass will be made. During your normal garbage day, you may place out for collection an unlimited amount of white goods and bulk items for no additional charge. Flags of Valor

The Yorkville American Legion Post 489 invites you to honor our nation and all of the veterans who have served with the 2021 Yorkville Flags of Valor as American flags are displayed at Town Square during the week of Veterans Day. A flag can be sponsored for $30 and will include a keepsake ribbon and personalized tag to honor a veteran (optional). Flags will be displayed at Town Square (301 N Bridge, Yorkville) starting Monday, November 1 through Thursday, November 11. This is an opportunity to recognize and honor a veteran in your life or support the hundreds of veterans in Yorkville and Kendall County. Everyone is welcome to participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Yorkville American Legion Post 489. The support form is attached for your use.
