Yorkville's St. Patrick's Day Celebration - Saturday, March 13th!
It’s time to get out and celebrate! Join the United City of Yorkville in the annual Yorkville St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Saturday, March 13th with one OR ALL of the below family events!
1) RUN SOB RUN 5K* RACE BEGINS AT 9AM (Southbank Original BBQ - 129 E Hydraulic St, Yorkville, IL 60560)

2) LEPRECHAUN & OTHER CHARACTERS MEET & GREETS * 11AM-1PM, RIVERFRONT PARK (131 E HYDRAULIC AVE, YORKVILLE)
Come one, come all to visit your favorite characters at Riverfront Park! Each child visiting will receive a small goodie bag from the Leprechaun himself (while supplies last)! After families are done visiting character throughout Riverfront Park, they can check out the music, food and other festive activities hosted at several of Yorkville’s restaurants and businesses!
3) LUCKY LEPRECHAUN HUNT * 9AM
Ever tried finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? The Leprechaun has hidden a pot of gold in one of the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department’s parks! The first clue will be posted on the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department’s Facebook page at 9am on Saturday, March 13. Continue to follow the clues at each park and see if your family can locate the hidden pot of gold!
4) ST. PATRICK’S CELEBRATION FIREWORKS SHOW! RT 47 & COUNTRYSIDE PKWY * 6:30PM
End your Yorkville St. Patrick’s Celebration with a BANG! The fireworks will be shot off at the corner of Rt47 and Countryside Pkwy starting at dusk (approximately 6:30pm).
