The week of June 15th is White Goods/Bulk Items Amnesty Week! Please note that all White Goods/Bulk items must be on the curb by 6 a.m. on your regular garbage day. Only 1 pass will be made. During your normal garbage day, you may place out for collection an unlimited amount of white goods and bulk items for no additional charge. Electric GREEN Aggregation Now Offered through MC Squared Energy Services!

The United City of Yorkville is pleased to inform you that the City is restarting its electric aggregation program that was suspended in 2014.  The City has secured a GREEN aggregation alternative and selected MC Squared Energy Services, LLC (“mc2”), to serve the City with electricity supply and Renewable Energy Certificates. mc2 will provide eligible residents and small businesses with an electricity supply price equal to the ComEd rate for a 24-month term beginning with the August 2020 meter read cycle.   Residents will also be getting this information mailed directly to your home.  You are not required to do anything to participate in this program, but if you would like to opt out you need to call or mail the opt out form to mc2. Drive-In Movie at Raging Waves - June 25th!

Chill out at Raging Waves with a Drive-In Movie featuring Frozen II on Thursday, June 25! For $5 per vehicle, families will enjoy viewing this family favorite on a 30-foot inflatable screen with a large popcorn provided by Raging Waves from the comfort of their vehicles. The movie will start at dusk (approximately 8:45 pm) with the parking lot opening for parking at 7:30 pm. Please note, car placement for parking will be on a first come, first serve basis.

PLEASE NOTE: only register the number of vehicles attending. Registration is available for Oswego and Yorkville Residents only June 9-June 19 and will open to anyone interested starting June 20 as space allows.  To register visit our website here:
