Proposed Project

Jatin Patel, petitioner, on behalf of JBNM Associates, LLC, owner, has filed applications with the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, requesting rezoning classification and special use authorization.  The real property is generally located at the southwest corner of IL Route 47 (Bridge Street) and Fox Street. The petitioner is requesting rezoning approval from B-2 Retail Commerce Business District to B-3 General Business District. The petitioner is also requesting special use permit approval for the operation of a truck rental service ancillary to the existing liquor and convenience store use.

Public Hearing

The rezoning and special use public hearing is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the United City of Yorkville, City Hall, located at 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville, Illinois 60560.  Remote attendance will also be available via Zoom. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard.  Any written comments should be addressed to the United City of Yorkville Community Development Department, City Hall, 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville Illinois, and will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing.
