Bowman Subdivision Variance and Final Plat

Proposed Project

Tom Bowman has filed an application requesting variance approval to decrease the required minimum lot width within the R-1 Single-Family Suburban Residential District from one hundred feet (100’) to ninety-seven feet (97’) as stated in Section 10-7-1 of the Yorkville Municipal Code. The property is located at the southwest corner of the E Van Emmon and Timber Oak Lane intersection in Yorkville, Illinois. The petitioner is subdividing the existing parcel into three separate lots and is requesting relief on the lot width requirement for one of the new parcels.

Public Hearing

The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the United City of Yorkville, City Hall, located at 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville, Illinois 60560.  Remote attendance will also be available via Zoom. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given opportunity to be heard.  Any written comments should be addressed to the United City of Yorkville Community Development Department, City Hall, 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville Illinois, and will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing.
