Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program Applications
The Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program has been established to provide working capital funds to community’s businesses economically impacted by the COVID-19 virus. Grant funds are then given to communities as a pass through to eligible businesses which must document the need for grant assistance.
The City of Yorkville will hold a closeout public hearing on May 25, 2021 at 7:00 pm, in City Hall (800 Game Farm Road) to report outcomes and provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the program activities and performance of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Downstate Small Business Stabilization (DSBS) grants funded through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The total amount of funds awarded to address the needs of the businesses due to the COVID-19 emergency was $173,750; and was used to assist the following businesses with working capital needs: BH Martial Arts, Idea Marketing Group, Inc., Fast Burrito, Inc., NDB Enterprises Inc. DBA Sunfield Restaurant, The IdeaPros Inc. DBA Logo Factory, Taekwondo Korea Center, Inc., Treasure Breads Inc., and Ginger and Soul Inc.
The City of Yorkville will hold a closeout public hearing on April 13, 2021 at 7:00 pm, in City Hall (800 Game Farm Road) to report outcomes and provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the program activities and performance of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Downstate Small Business Stabilization (DSBS) grants funded through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The total amount of funds awarded to address the needs of the businesses due to the COVID-19 emergency was $160,500; and was used to assist the following businesses with working capital needs: AGJS Inc. DBA Tiki Tan, Brenart Eye Clinic, LLC, COPA Inc. DBA Salsa Verde Mexican Restaurant & Taqueria, Duy’s Inc., Harmony Aesthetics, LLC, Mike and Denise’s Pigeon Hill Diner, Inc., The Heartland School, LLC, and White Water Ice Cream, LLC DBA Foxy’s Ice Cream.
