Spring Athletics 2023
Spring Baseball 2023
Join the Yorkville Parks & Recreation Department for this year’s Spring In-House Baseball/Softball League! The program is scheduled to begin practices the week of April 3rd and conclude games by July 8th. The Baseball season will include a 13 game schedule. Games will not be made up in the event of a weather cancellation. Practices will be held 2x a week Monday-Saturdays for the first 3 weeks. Partial attire will be included with the registration fee depending on the division. Please note, dates and dynamics for the program are subject to change as needed. Spring Softball 2023

Important Change
The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department has developed a partnership with softball organizations from the neighboring communities of Somonauk, Leland, Plano, Earlville, Indian Creek, Hinckley, Newark/Lisbon, Sandwich, Serena, and Paw Paw. We are excited to offer this unique recreational league for grades 1-8 (ages 8U-14U) as this will offer the opportunity to have a separate 8U and 10U league with our partnering communities rather than combining divisions, similar to what we have done in seasons past. Please note that travel to neighboring communities will be required for ALL softball leagues with this program. There will be a 10-12 game schedule depending on the division registered. Games will likely begin the week of May 15th and conclude early July.

Spring Soccer 2023
The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Soccer leagues are designed to teach and improve the various skills and knowledge pertaining to the game of soccer in a fun, recreational atmosphere. The new 3-year-old league will feature 4 weeks of practice and 4 weeks of scrimmage games with all games and practices being held on Saturdays. Leagues for grades Pre-K through 8th grade will have an 8-game schedule with the majority of games being played on Saturdays, and practices held during the week. 2023-2024 PRESCHOOL INFORMATION
We are excited to announce registration for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year! Priority registration for current Future Foxes and Ready, Set, Go students begins January 9th with registration open to the general public on January 23! 2022-2023 Ready, Set, Go
The Ready Set Go Program is designed to introduce children, ages 2-3, to the daily and weekly routine of preschool. Students meet for an hour and 15 minutes each day and class will focus on the children's overall developmental needs by providing a stimulating environment through hands-on experiences and play. The daily curriculum is based on the newly enhanced Future Foxes Preschool, but adapted to meet the needs of this age group. Please note, students do not need to be fully potty-trained to enroll within this program; however, parents must be available for diaper changes as needed. Registration for the 2023-2024 begins on January 9th for current families enrolled in the program and on January 23 for the general public. For more information please visit the Ready, Set, Go page.
