The Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is a 13-week class which explains and demonstrates the activities of the Yorkville Police Department. There are 2 to 3 classes offered each year and applications are available at the Police Department or online.

The emergency notification system is designed to provide emergency notification to residents and businesses in Kendall County. Kendall County uses the Everbridge Mass Notification System.This system will deliver pre-recorded emergency notifications and informational messages to either targeted areas or the entire County via telephone calls, text messages, or email.
